benchcoach Taking The Luck Out Of Fantasy Sports

LEAGUE LAB IS LIVE!!

After many weeks of testing (thank you beta testers) we're proud to announce the full release of Benchcoach's League Lab.

You can now drag and drop players to and from multiple rosters in your leagues, as well as search from our new custom built Util widget and drag and drop from there as well.  As you begin to drag, you'll notice that we've highlighted in light green the position where you're able to drop the player.

The front end is clean, clear and crisp.  However, from the back end, our League Lab has many highly sophisticated and technical moving parts.  We've built the League Lab with speed in mind.  As you drag and drop, you'll notice that we're calculating the changes in realtime and there's essentially no lag.  That's the same for the custom Util search.  As you input a players name, we'll search for it in realtime, you don't have to click any buttons.

We'll be pushing updates to the League Lab on a daily basis so stay tuned.  As always, if you have any suggestions or feedback, please email us at, support@benchcoach.com.  One of our team members will get back to you quickly.

We hope you enjoy.

Thanks,

The Benchcoach Team!

Latest feature

We recently released a new version of Benchcoach which includes the following new feature: The ability to include your bench players into your projections. This way, if you're in a league that has a larger bench and fewer starting spots, you can now include the bench players contributions into your projections. We're looking to add additional features here that would allow you to just include benched hitters or benched pitchers so keep an eye out for that in the coming weeks.

Positional Rank and Full Projected Standings

We've just launched two new features for Benchcoach's league analyzer.

We now calculate and display your estimated final season standing for all the leagues. This will help head to head league owners determine whether or not their team can make the playoffs.

In addition, we've also added positional strength analytics.

You can see which player is above average for that position and which areas are below area. We're still tweaking this but from the feedback we've gotten so far, this is something that people have asked for.

Try out Benchcoach today and take the tour to see what else Benchcoach can do.

CBS Sportsline joins ESPN and Yahoo/YahooPlus

With the latest build pushed out last night, importing CBS Sportsline leagues has move to production, so give it a try!

I'm going to start posting more on the blog to let everyone know of all the changes that we've been adding. We're working nonstop adding things, multiple times a week, and I think it'll be nicer to start telling people what we're up to.

If you have any trouble -- especially with the roster import -- please contact support@benchcoach.com. The way that they do position limits is very different from Yahoo and ESPN, and there are some edge-case conditions when the max position limits aren't set correctly.
